Hear BJB is a live audio streaming app for BJB Olomouc church. It delivers real-time interpretation audio to congregation members' phones during services. This policy explains in plain terms what the app does — and importantly, what it does not do — with your data.
Summary: Hear BJB collects no personal data of any kind. It does not store, record, or analyze your usage or the audio stream. There are no user accounts, no tracking, and no third-party analytics.
None. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information about you. Specifically:
The app receives a live audio stream from the church's local server and plays it through your device's speaker or headphones. This audio is the interpretation of the church service, streamed in real time.
The audio data flows exclusively from the server to your device — it is never transmitted back, never stored on any server, never recorded, and never analyzed. The stream exists only in your device's memory for the instant it is being played, and is discarded immediately afterward. No audio file, fragment, or derivative is ever written to disk or sent over the internet.
The church's server produces the audio stream live from a connected sound interface and forwards it to connected listeners. The server does not log who is listening, for how long, or what device they are using.
When you are outside the church's local Wi-Fi network, the connection to the server is routed through Cloudflare, a globally trusted internet infrastructure provider. Cloudflare acts strictly as a secure proxy — it creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the church's server so that the connection remains stable and protected even when accessed remotely.
Cloudflare's role is purely technical and protective:
When you are connected to the church's Wi-Fi, the app connects directly to the local server without using Cloudflare at all — the audio is delivered entirely within the local network, never leaving the building.
Cloudflare may process transient network metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of normal internet routing, subject to Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We have no access to this metadata and do not request or receive it.
The app establishes a connection to the church's server to receive the audio stream. No personal data, usage information, or device data is ever sent from your device to the server or to any other party. The only data transmitted is the raw audio stream, flowing one way: from server to your device.
None. The app does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics platforms, social media SDKs, or any other third-party data services. The only external dependency is Cloudflare, used solely as a network tunnel for remote access as described above.
Because no personal data is collected whatsoever, the app is safe for users of all ages. There are no features that could collect children's data.
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the date above will be revised. Given the app's deliberately minimal design, significant changes are unlikely.
